I have a new number and hence a new sim card. When I inserted the sim card in the Mudita Kompakt, I was looking for the setting the change the pin code of the sim card. Am I blind, or is this option missing? It can’t be, surely.
I’m not sure if that’s possible, I will ask the team about this.
Hello, here is a way to change your pin code :
Open the phone dialer and enter the following code :
**04OLD_PIN*NEW_PIN*NEW_PIN#
Exemple : **040000*1234*1234#
Press the call button
This will change your SIM PIN immediately.
Hope that will help.

This MMI code didn’t work for me (on a global model Mudita Kompakt using an EE carrier SIM in the UK).
What did work for me was:
**04*<old PIN>*<new PIN>*<new PIN>#
That is, the MMI code “04” had to be separated from the old PIN with an asterisk.
For example:
**04*1111*1234*1234#
It is strange that the Mudita OS doesn’t offer a user interface for performing this common security procedure without resorting to MMI codes.
Our team also confirmed that this works:
**04*OLD_PIN*NEW_PIN*NOWY_PIN#
