The biggest challenge of using a “minimal-ized” smartphone is using it in bright sunlight. I like E Ink, but now I wonder about the reports on this Forum about degradation of the Kompakt’s E Ink display when left in bright sunlight. And, I now wonder whether there is a better display technology than E Ink – that is usable in bright sunlight and that can be colorful for certain applications (such as photos).
