If you’ve already made sure that GPS is turned on, enabled for the Maps application, and that you tried obtaining location data while outside and with a clear view of the sky, there isn’t anything else we could currently recommend.
Due to a number of Kompakt users reporting difficulty using location data, we decided to work on adding an option to turn on assisted GPS. Doing so would help improve location accuracy and reliability to levels comparable with other phones, but at the cost of reduced privacy due to having to share location data through cellular and WiFi networks.
Once available, you will be able to choose whether you want to use assisted GPS or not. We’re currently still unable to provide any specific timeframe for when such an update could be released.
