Can you describe the sounds that your Kompakt makes when you send a text message via SMS?

maybe i had sent previous texts only while the phone was on silent mode so I hadn’t realised that this would happen!

I had a Kompakt last year but sold it and am waiting to buy one again after Mudita adds voicemail features that are common here in the USA.
However, I know that MuditaOS K is based on AOSP 12, and here is what the Brave browser’s AI generated when I asked a question about your problem:

I cannot send SMS in Offline mode so that’s probably unrelated to the SMS sounds.
I would look under Settings at Sound settings, then select Advanced and change some of the toggles.
