Does anyone have experience using a navigation app in the car with the Mudita Kompakt? In considering getting a Kompakt, I need to know if I will be able to access dependable navigation for driving. Apart from the maps app, could side loaded apps like Waze, TomTom, other maps app work through android auto in the car?

I don’t believe the Kompakt works at all with Android Auto without “rooting” the phone due to its de-Googled nature. However, Waze works okay in general on the Kompakt (though it is not optimized for E-Ink screens).

I can confirm that Android Auto will not work correctly with Mudita Kompakt because of google services.
