Days between charge duration

Six days between charges? Really, It’s phone, I cannot keep it offline all the time.

Has anyone managed to have a six-day cycle ~ or four days with the 80% charge limit on?

With an 80% max charge I may be getting 2 days, at best, between charges, which is fine for me. I am not using the offline option, with dual sim cards, Wi-Fi off and Bluetooth off, backlight off, no mods or app add-ons. I’ve had a few hours of phone calls and a few texts between charges. Also, I use the USB connection, slow charge wattage.

How can I increase the duration between charges besides keeping the phone offline and charging to 100%?

The specs say up to six days, but that’s not my experience. I like how the advertised claim is “up to”

When I got the phone, it showed me a bit more than 6 HOURS, not days  Then a few days later it magically jumped to 6 days or something, and then down to 2 days, then some hours again. Realistically it’s 1-2 days, but I might get 6 days when the phone is off 98% of the time
Yeah, “up to”… that could also mean it lasts for 2 seconds, but IN THEORY it COULD last for 6 days :stuck_out_tongue:

I have 4 to 5 days charge with 80% charge limit. I don’t have sideloaded messengers or anything else that phones home. I had it since august last year and my battery cycle count is at 23 or 24.

Pretty much depends on the usage. In my early days with the Kompakt, I didn’t have any sideloaded apps, I did full charges and drained the battery to less than 5%.. and, yes - using the Offline+ made it possible to achieve 5-6 days..

After I installed some apps and started using more data, charging only to 80% and draining to 20%.. my work time dropped to 1-2 days..

I usually get 3 or 4 days with 80% charge, I have Bluetooth on all day, connected to a headset. No texting and just having a couple of calls during the day. No extra apps installed, I have disable chess, radio and e-reader

i have only whatsapp sideloaded, plus directory, calmcast, qr from mind apps. Usually I achieve 2 days of battery life charging 20/80.

If you sideload an app like App Manager - wich I personally really recommend as it contains loads of useful functionality beside being ‘just’ app manager ( GitHub - MuntashirAkon/AppManager: A full-featured package manager and viewer for Android · GitHub ) from F-Droid, you can view the app usage by clicking on the three dots in the top right, which opens a menu with additional functions, one of which is app usage. I wouldn’t be surprised if Whatsapp is on top of that list.

Yes i think so, but for me is ok! 2 days of battery life is a really good improvement since my last phone battery was half days
btw thanks for the advice, I will look for this App manager.

ps are you from italy?

Sounds like a 400% improvement, in that case (according to non-presidential standards).

No, purtroppo non sono italiano.

Wifi has proved to be the battery killer for me, and any app that is running in the background, wating for a notification. I use Molly a fork of Signal as my main communication app, also sms and telephone, I close all apps with background data, using the killapp application, run the Inkos launcher, bluetooth is permanently on and charge to full. I get 4 or 5 days per charge dependant on calls I make or receive.
