Big upvote here, only complaint with mudita kompakt, everything else is perfect

Yes, CalmCast is my absolute favorite app and the only one—besides the Katapult Launcher—that I’ve installed separately because podcasts are just so important to me. I’m really grateful for this fantastic app.

Yeah, it’s the same for me. Every day when I head to work on my bike, I pick a podcast episode, and I just love CalmCast’s minimalist and clean interface. No images and no bright colors (thanks to the great E-Ink display) to distract me.

Make a feed option for most recent releases podcasts so I don’t have to check each podcast individually

I’ve just installed the app and it’s fantastic. Initially, I thought I’d use my Mudita Kompakt only for calls and SMS, but I soon realized that this method doesn’t work (for me). At home, I always had my old Google Pixel within reach just to check WhatsApp, listen to podcasts, or whatever, and I ended up using it as much as before. Now that I’ve installed a few essential apps on the Kompakt (podcasts, WhatsApp, QR code scanner), I can afford to leave my Pixel turned off in the drawer for days at a time and only use it when strictly necessary (home banking, etc.).
So I wanted to thank @davidray for this fantastic app and for allowing me to lead a more mindful life, free from distractions.

Hi ! Does it work with podcasts which require an authentification ? (paid ones)

I have not personally tried paid podcasts. Maybe someone who uses it a bit more can say if they’ve tried it (funny that I’m the one who built it but I don’t particularly listen to a lot of podcasts…)

It works, you have a personal RSS hosted by service that you must find that will work
