Hello everyone,
One of my worst problem with the Kompakt is the lack of synchronization in the calendar. I am using an Iphone and my wife also, and we have a shared calendar on icloud wich is very important for us due to some health issues.
I would love to use provided calendar, but without any sync capabilities is not practical.

Yesterday I installed in my Kompact “KachCal”. installed though F-Droid.
I have to say it’s exactly what I need.
It synced to icloud calendar without any problem . (You need to make a password specific for the calendar to access. Very easy)

Calendar works perfectly. Synchronized with my Mudita Komkapt without any problem.
Everything is there.
I make a new event in the Kompak and appears in the Iphone in no time.

It works like a charm. Opensource and works very good with the Komkapk eink screen.

Again, I would love to use the default calendar, but without any sync capabilities is not practical.
This is the best solution I found.

Great solutions!

The hack for me was sideloading the Zoom app.

I’m able to log into my gmail as well as full Google calendar within Zoom workplace!

This is super helpful and just what I’m looking for!! Question, though: I sideloaded KachCal, but cant for the life of me figure out how to add my Google Calendars. I suspect it’s via CalDAV, but do you mind just walking me through how to do it?

Following up here to say that DAVx5 sideloaded allowed me to get both iCloud AND Google calendar to work with the KachCal app! (read only though but that’s fine)

It also allowed me to sync my iCloud contacts to main Contacts!
