Unable to scan/search both Samsung’s ear bud and Pixel’s bud, shown not available only random devices appeared such as TV, lamp etc. Any idea?
@amiraseri So, when you try to pair your headphones with Mudita Kompakt, the headphones are not showing up as available to pair on Mudita Kompkat? You see some random devices, but NOT the headphones you want to pair.
Am I understanding that correctly?
Yes correct. It’s been like that even before software update, I had never been able to connect to my Bluetooth headset, had to use my wired one.
@amiraseri Not to sound belittling, but are you sure they’re in pairing mode? Are they currently connected to other devices? I know my earbuds have a limitation to 2 devices, so for example if my earbuds were last connected to both my personal computer and work computer, and if those are currently open, my earbuds will not connect to my phone unless I turn bluetooth off on at least one of those devices.
I have the same issue. When I use a bluetooth BLE scanner the AirPods show up as available, but the Kompakt refuses to find them
Any idea if this is being fixed this month as its a deal breaker for me?
My Sony C700N bluetooth earphones are not connecting. I make sure, the earphones are in pairing mode and not connected to any other device. Kompakt couldn’t find it when scanning.
There will be fixes to the BLUETOOTH connection issues in the upcoming update this month (September).
@ramamohan and @chrisrose83 There are two different issues going on here. Most people who have reported issues connecting to a device are talking about RECONNECTING to a device. The app that I have recommended on other threads is for that exact issues, and the fix @urszula is talking about is also for that issue.
If you are having issues connecting to a bluetooth device for the first time, I believe you are likely experiencing another issue, possibly with your bluetooth device itself. There are many of us on this forum that have reported being able to connect to bluetooth devices. I have been able to connect 6 bluetooth devices to my Kompakt with no issue, and they have all reconnected every time except for once (and that one case is where I recommend a 3rd-party app until the September fix).
When you read the forum, it is good practice to be specific enough about the problem you are facing and to search the forum to see if that question has been answered before…
Although I have not experienced this issues personally on Mudita Kompakt, I did have a problem connecting to another device with my Sony WI-C100 headphones. It actually turned out that I had too many devices connected/paired to those headphones. Perhaps this could be an issues.
I tried resetting my Bluetooth and mudita just for the Bluetooth pairing, still no luck. Mudita unable to scan both my earbuds (Samsung and pixel buds pro), but strangely it able to scan my TV and massage chair, which is pointless.
And you’ve defintely made sure you put them in pairing mode? Turned bluetooth off on any other devices they’re connected to?
Found this for your Pixel Buds Pro:
“1. Open the earbuds case but keep the earbuds inside.
2. Make sure your phone is unlocked and Bluetooth is on.
3. Press and hold the pairing button until the light starts to blink for 3 seconds.
4. On your phone, tap the Pixel Buds pairing notification.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.”
@ramamohan, @chrisrose83, and @amiraseri
Some users have had success connecting their bluetooth devices after downloading the manufacturer’s app.
Let me try sideloading Sony Sound app.
