These look amazing! Just the other day I was trying to find an ambient noise app that works well as it helps me focus when reading in a busy environment.

I had a quick look and couldn’t find anything, but are these currently published publicly?
Out of interest, do you know when you might do the next design challenge?

I know some of them are on GitHub, like Sexy Launcher- GitHub - Boris55555/Sexy-Launcher: A minimalistic launcher application designed for Mudita Kompakt. Ā· GitHub

It was mentioned previously on the FORUM here:

@ed_knight490 You can find AstroWatch here: GitHub - michael-bain/AstroWatch: Lightweight astronomy app for the Mudita Kompakt Ā· GitHub :slightly_smiling_face: I’m really interested in Soundscape as well! Looks great!

I’m surprised katapult launcher didn’t win. It’s awesome

We have to ask @jordan if he submitted it for this contest. Our jury was only able to choose winner if they submitted their app for the challenge.

Wish so much there were links to these. Soundscape and Ink Ride sound so great, but despite searching github, this forum, and the greater internet, I could not find any link to them.

Bummer that the MindApps isn’t being maintained. @urszula Any chance Mudita could pick it up (a MMD focused app store)?

I’d also be interested in Soundscape and Ink Ride

There has been a similar app as Soundscape on F-Droid:

We understand there there is a lot of interest in these apps  We think they’re great too. Our only limitation is that these apps were submitted to us directly for the contest & without the explicit permission from the creators/developers we’re not sure we can share them.

If the creator/developer has shared their app here, like @michaelbain1 has, we think that’s great & we would love all of the participants to make their apps available. We did reach out to the developers & are waiting to hear back.

I’m not sure what can be done if the original creator is not responding. To be honest, I don’t know if we can just ā€œtake overā€ someone’s work. However, we can always keep reaching out to see if they respond. There’s no harm in that.

Oh that was @gezimos app. Mine was KompaktX. I was wanting to submit that one but I had posted it online already, I thought the contest was for new apps only darn!

Given you got #3 on the most popular community apps seems like there should be some sort of prize!

I hear you, and maybe it’s unfashionable, but it seems to be within the rights of Mudita’s licensing grant, per the contest rules, to ā€œ3) make the submission or its selected parts available to end users of Mudita devices and services free of chargeā€; see Page 4 of the Contest Rules. In fact, the language suggests that Mudita practically owns the app now (in an open source kind of way). I sure would love to have the Blanket port too… these are great. They were required to be listed publicly on GitHub also (per the rules), soo… I guess if someone finds them, please share
