The FCC report doesn’t reflect the final supported LTE bands for the Kompakt. Our team is currently working on validating the full range of supported bands, and there are indeed more LTE bands that the device will support, helping to improve coverage in and out of cities.
Once testing is fully completed and verified, we’ll update you with a comprehensive list
Hi, long term lurker here. You’re coming off a bit hostile in some of your posts and I’d appreciate you toning it down a bit as it’s bittering the atmosphere. @anon52747040
also you will scare off their team
Anyway, I highly doubt they would step into the same river as with Pure, as reception was one of the main problems. Lets have faith
That said I can’t wait to dive into the Kickstarter!
I for one have complete faith (team, don’t make me look foolish, haha).
I am sure the Kompakt will be usable across the globe, there wouldn’t be much use otherwise.
Hostile lol? You can choose to interpret my messaging any way you choose (incorrectly by the way_) If you want to judge people on posts thats on you. You do you lol
@anon3489900 Welcome to the Mudita Community! and congrats on your first post @anon52747040 means well- Mudita Pure was his first love and he was heartbroken it didn’t work in his native Canada. It’s understandable he’s still has some apprehensions. We completely understand.
Hi, it’s my first post on Mudita forum. I’m super excited about this new product and mindful technology overall. I am already trying to make my iPhone as mindful and minimalistic as possible, with gray-scale screen. If I would like to switch to Mudita Kompakt that’s my first step to get used to it. But I know that some basic apps are still needed and most of people would like to have them, like:
calendar app
reminders app
notes app
photos and camera app
basic maps app
basic mail app
very basic browser app
I think all of these are possible to implement. I’m a software engineer and I would even like to work for company like yours, because this is so much in alignment with my philosophy and lifestyle. Hope you will succeed with the product.
I still put my foot down at browser, I don’t think that should be on a minimalist phone. I rather have a directory tool like the Light phone has where you can look up locations, restaurants etc and get addresses and phone numbers. I really hope the Kompakt does not have a browser because then for sure I won’t be purchasing it. I have a Light phone 3 that I ordered day one it was released. Will be a tough decision to decide between the 2 but luckily LP3 comes out in Jan so I will be able to use it before the Mudita launches and then if Kompakt checks off all the boxes, will see if I make the switch!
Yes I need that. I will still keep a smartphone at home but that’s where it stays, at home. I want to get past the boredom. I am too impulsive, obsessive, compulsive, call it what you want, simplicity will make things a lot easier for me.
I wonder when Kompakt is launched, will there be an option for users to select partial financial exchange of the Pure handset for Kompakt, and send the Pure handset back to Mudita?
A question about network connectivity: Considering the focus on user options, will there be an option to select the network the phone uses? Specifically to turn off 5G?
For me, the browser can be an intentional add on. I think there should be an app store, but only when you’re connected to Mudita Center and then you can download the apps that you want.
