that was probable it. It might have been touching it.
For me, it makes no difference whether I use Futo or the Mudita Keyboard in terms of battery consumption. But maybe that has something to do with other apps.
This makes it all the more important that the Mudita Keyboard is redesigned so that you donāt have to rely on third-party apps.
Otherwise, all I can say on the subject is that if you use the KompaKt like a normal smartphone, with streaming and messenger apps running in the background, etc., you shouldnāt be surprised if the battery drains as quickly as it does on a normal smartphone. I get 7-9 days of battery life. A few text messages a day, a call here and there, and about 2 hours of podcasts with CalmCast on my way to and from work every day. No Bluetooth (I use Mudita headphones via cable) and Wi-Fi only briefly when I want to download new podcast episodes.
The Kompaktās battery can do a lot, but only if you donāt load the device with apps that constantly run services in the background and for which the Kompakt is not really intended.
Nevertheless, I appeal to Mudita once again to please ensure that the pre-installed apps finally work properly so that people donāt have to install as many third-party apps.
No induction charging deck.
It was below freezing that day so maybe it had something to do with that?
Hey Urszula! You keep saying that you both use Signal & Whatsapp. But how do you use the phone in general to keep up the battery life? Have you made any setting changes in Whatsapp? Do you mostly switch to Offline Mode of the phone when not using it? I would be happy to read about that!
@nolz.lukas I donāt use OFFLINE+ that much. However, I am not a super heavy user of whatsapp & signal. I, maybe, send 5-6 messages per day. Iām using my Kompakt to talk more on the phone. It was one of my new yearās resolutions to not have conversations via text or messenger apps. If I want to have a conversation, then I do it via VOICE. I donāt go back and forth via messages. Maybe thatās the difference.
