Hello everyone,
I just received my kompakt today and it appears that there is an issue with the way it displays french keyboards .
First its doesnt display the M on the left of the L and its replaces the M location on a qwerty keyboard with a ù making it as such that there’s one letter missing.
Alors ça c’est particulièrement ennuyeux!
A missing key makes the keyboard unusable. That’s pretty serious!
@salim Hi Salim, Welcome to the Mudita Forum & thank you for reaching out. I’ve passed this on to our Mudita Team. I cannot offer more her at the moment, since I use the ENG keyboard.
As i’m french myself, i would be very glad if that issue could be solved… Thanks.
I expect to receive my Kompakt in a few days and plan to use Gboard in the meantime, until this issue is (hopefully quickly) resolved!
In deed, there is no “M”… I can’t wright my own last name… it’s a bit of a proble. Cause .y na.e starts with an “.”…
@philmonge Our team is aware of the bug. I will ask when a fix is expected.
Thank you for help. I’m French and have the same problem (no “M” on keyboard). I will like very much this phone when the problem will be solved

Gboard works pretty well, but it’s still another basic feature that needs to be replaced.
De mon côté je suis passé en QWERTY pour éviter trop de bidouilles.
Le fossify keybord marche bien en attendant une mise à jour.
