Yesterday, I watched an interesting segment on the news:
This segment attempts to highlight the phenomenon that our attention spans are decreasing due to the rapid pace of modern life, particularly the influence of technology. Downsides of a shorter attention span are also discussused, including increased errors, longer time to complete tasks, and heightened stress.
However, what I also found interesting is that there’s a reflection on how each generation perceives the impact of technology on the next, questioning whether it’s truly a decline or just a difference in experience.
What do you guys think? Do you think our attention spans are shrinking? How bad is it? Or is it just much ado about nothing?
