For those eagerly awaiting the update, myself included, and who hope each day that the update will be available, several things should be considered. Generally, when an update is announced for a certain period, you shouldnāt expect it before at least the second half of that period. The timelines are set hoping to be ready closer to the beginning of the period, but with some leeway for the inevitable last-minute delays.
Additionally, updates are often released at the beginning of the week. This allows time to react in case of any issues not detected during testing. Donāt expect an update after Wednesday.
In my opinion, it will be released at the beginning of the last week of July, either on the 28th or 29th. With a bit of luck, it might be available around July 22nd, if Mudita is ready by then.

Iāve just ordered my Mudita Kompakt two days ago and am eagerly awaiting it right now, but even if I would already have it then please take your time. Prioritise quality over everything else if possible. I can only speak for myself, but I donāt need another manufacturer who is misuing their customers as alpha testers. Also this is about mental health and well-being for your developers. I donāt want them to get stressed out because some people in the forums donāt have patience (no offense at this point!).
All that I want to say is: Take your time, make sure everything is well tested while your developers donāt get stressed out about it and then release the update in its best form. This ultimately leads to higher customer satisfaction over those ones already complaining beforehand.
Iām a IT system administrator and it is astonishing how even big tech companies are releasing broken software and seemingly donāt have any proper QA in place anymore.

I also work in IT and experience that. IMHO itās driven by people who try to apply hot trends wherever possible - see agile and everything as-a-service, see moving from bigger updates to multiple smaller revisions (I have an impression Opera browser was first to ridiculously increment their major rev number), see moving from perpetual licenses to subsciptions. All seems to be melted with the urge to have stable and continuous and neverending revenue flow, and this is caused by a superstition of increasing YoY growth to look good for the shareholders. At least thatās my current belief based on observations.
In such case, thereās simply no time to thoroughly double-check everything. Isnāt that an imminent feature of CI/CD?

The point is Mudita themselves communicated officially that the Update will come early July. Hence, not fair to blame the users as āimpatientāā¦
The next major update (version 1.2.0) will launch at the beginning of July

You do realize that unforeseen issues can arise anytime, donāt you? Iām sure there are good reasons that the update hasnāt gone live yet. Iām also quite sure that Mudita will update on the matter should they encounter issues which might cause a bigger delay. At least this is what I would expect.
Other than that I donāt get your urgence. Did your device got bricked or in any other way unusable forcing you to create such hesitation and urgency? Just have a bit more patience, calm down, meditate and do some things that make you happy in the meanwhile

I can confirm that the update is in its final phase of tests & will be out shortly. We just wanted to make sure we have everything ironed out. After all, this is a BIG one
