Any release date for update?

Well, with thorough unit/e2e testing, you should be able to ship fast, but when CEOs/stakeholders/etc. don’t understand that and are breathing down your neck, those are the things that go first, unfortunately. I worked at a company where we shipped nearly every day, but we also had very thorough smoke tests that would run before our PROD build was queued up. If it passed, we were confident about shipping, but otherwise, we’d take however long or delay by a day, if needed.

I would not be surprised if Mudita releases the new Mudita Center version a few days before the new Kompakt firmware. Let’s say Mudita Center on monday, and the Kompakt update on thuesday or wednesday.

Thank you so much! I didn’t realize Mudita Centre is already available. I thought it was being launched for the July update. Super helpful.

Hello. I’m starting to be a little bit impatient about the update… There is some issues here and there that have to be fixe (bluetooth, keybord in french etc…).
But Urszula, You are doing a great, great job !

@hjj Mudita Center is already available for macOS

That is true but sadly not as a native app on arm machines. It also takes quite a while to load. BUT it is available that is right.

I have a strange feeling that the update is not coming this week… :grimacing:

Probably not a good idea to assume things like this. It might give people the wrong idea.

The wrong idea of what?

@tobi I have GREAT news for you. Our team just told me that we’re working on a new version of Mudita Center that will also run natively on ARM-based Macs.

I’m sorry I can’t see what message you’re replying to. “Load parent message” spins indefinitely when I click on it.

English isn’t my native language, so perhaps I should have written “on a Monday” and not “on Monday”. I never meant this Monday., it was an example.

If you’re replying to my first message, it was there precisely so people would understand that it’s wiser to wait until the end of the month and not be impatient every day, especially the last working days of the week and weekends.

You’re fine. I was just referring to this sentence:

Let’s say Mudita Center on monday, and the Kompakt update on thuesday or wednesday.

I know you were using it as an example, but people still might think updates are coming on those days even though those days are not confirmed by Mudita. For all we know, they could release it any day of the week.
