I sometimes have my Kompakt playing audio via a simple stereo aux cable attched to the car aux port. When I get calls, I can usually seamlessly have the audio come out through the speakers and have the phone mic pick up what I am saying. However, almost every other time, the phone mic refuses to work and I have to desperately scramble to switch to ‘speaker’ mode for the other person to hear me. At such times, the headphone symbol continues to appear in the status bar.
Once this situation occurs, unplugging and replugging the aux cable does not solve matters and on a future drive does the phone sometimes miraculously work correctly again when connected to the car audio system with the stereo aux cable.
Could I kindly request that the Mudita tech team take a look at improving the reliability of the phone correctly using its mic in a call when a stereo aux cable is plugged into the headphone jack? Thank you!
