Does the device have wireless charging? I thought it does
I have used 2 different charging pucks and neither works!
Hello. It does work here. In my experience the wireless charging only works if you place the charger in the bottom half of the phone, not in the center. Here’s a sample image of the phone wirelessly charging from my car stand:
what are you using to have it stick to the car charger?
I bought a bunch of MagSafe compatible rings and stuck one to the case of the phone. The charger has magnets that keep it in place.
ah that makes sense. magsafe was a great system by apple, more phones should use it
Got it working - just needed to fiddle with placement!
@gregwhates The position of wireless charging antenna is not directly in the middle, but a little lower. Also, make sure your case is not on the phone. It should work. I tried it & others on the Mudita Forum have also reported that it works.
Where did you find this teardown? I’m wanting to see how easily the battery could be replaced.
FCC website from the certification testing. Just Google Mudita Kompakt FCC and you should have a lot of documents “internal photos” “external photos” it should be there.
I already looked, seems like a custom battery. Connector should be standard but the size is custom and using the same model name of the battery I couldn’t find it anywhere.
Dang. Thanks for the helpful information. ̶D̶o̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶o̶d̶e̶l̶ ̶n̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶f̶h̶a̶n̶d̶?̶
Nevermind. I found it using your directions!
For anyone interested, I did find an almost exact match to the battery but the dimensions are a tiny bit too large. You can have the battery company customize the size, but I have a feeling that would cost us a lot. The search continues…
