These days, it seems like everything is about work-life balance. With 4-day workweeks & 35 hour workweeks becoming more & more common. However, Greece is going in a different direction & I am wondering what you guys think about this.
Greece has introduced a six-day working week as of July 1st. This means that employees to work up to 48 hours in a week as opposed to 40. The government states that it’s to address labor shortages in various sectors like industry, retail, and agriculture. Workers will receive a 40% daily wage supplement for the sixth day.
I think we have community members from Greece. I would love to hear your take on this.
