What is Muditas policy on repairs?

I’m just wondering what Muditas general policy is on repairs? Let’s say I break the eink screen from a drop, can I send it into Mudita HQ to get it fixed for a price? Or would I have to repurchase a new device at full price?

Just wondering because it’ll highly determine if I actually use the screen protector. No issues paying for repairs but I just haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.

I actually got one with it! I just saw folks mention it adding a lot of glare, does it detract from the eink screen?

Great question! I would like to see a video differentiating between what it looks like with and without a screen protector.

Did you ever use a screen protector and/or case for your Light Phone II? I never have - although, it does show substantial wear and tear on the corners and edges over the years. Would you recommend a case for the Kompakt?

Not at all, I have never noticed any glare or anything like that, until I talk about it I forget I even have one on lol

Yeah I had in the past, last one I had though I never got the screen protector or case, I sold it just a few days ago on reddit, was a great little device!

On a related note, will Mudita sell spare parts for the phone? Rather than ship it internationally to be repaired, I’d rather buy the part and fix it myself.

And since screen protectors are being discussed, did anyone else have issues with theirs? Mine will not seal completely to the phone. There are a couple air bubbles near the edges that will not go away and it’s very noticeable visually. But the edges by those bubbles also look a little odd so I’m wondering if I just got a defective one or this is a common issue.

I did end up adding the screen protector. The glare isn’t that noticeable, it’s most prominent on the edges of the protector I find.

One thing I will say, that I haven’t seen mentioned really, is that the way the actual screen feels is so much more tactile than the plastic-y smoothness of the protector. It’s something I’ll miss while this is on!

Overall I’m happy to have my device a little more secure though
