I agree with a lot, but for me personally one of the main selling points of the phone is that it has NO notifications. That’s the most mindful thing about it. If anything, they could look at WhatsApp/Signal and have notifications for that, like they do with SMS but that’s it.

(Nice to have): not have the month view reset back to the current one after swapping between month view and day view (for example, looking ahead a couple of months and wanting to see items listed on a specific day, but then being able to swap back to the month view of the month in question rather than being automatically brought back to the current month)
Music player:
Ability to load an album of music in the order the artist recorded it. (or at least to be able to reorder playlists manually)
(Nice to have): show the player functions show on the Lock Screen so you can press pause without having to unlock the phone.
(Nice to have): ability to delete tracks directly from the phone (without having to plug in to the laptop)
Messaging: Improve functionality/reliability of sending/receiving messages. This is the biggest problem I have with the phone. Are there some solutions for making sure texts send to and are received from ALL of my contacts, regardless of what phone model they have? I don’t know the cause of the lack of success, but my best guess is it’s something to do with RCS messaging and potentially might be worse with Apple users (which I think most of my contacts are).
On the plus side:
Love the visual design
Love the sound design
E-ink is wonderful
Mudita Center works well
Improvements in music player in the last update were appreciated
Bluetooth works well
It’s a great little phone and works for what I want with the only exception of the lack of reliability on messaging. I have had my phone for about a month now.

This is the Lock Screen I’m referring to. I have to swipe up and then type in my passcode before I can see the controls you’re showing in that photo.
Im happy with the Kompkt as it is, it does everything I need. The only slight improvement I would like, is the ability to easily kill an app, without going through the settings menu.
Was exited for the music player improvements, but was disappointed. Folder structure is fine and would have been a perfect solution if not for the fact that once in a specific folder the files play in alphabetical order. Why?
All I want is a musicplayer that can play a specific album in the correct running order. I have playlists that potentially could do this… but alas I can create a playlist but the music player app does not automaticaly locate already created playlists. Again, why?
The missing functionality of the musicplayer is really a mystery to me.
I’d really love to be able change sideloaded app icons to a built in icon. I only use Signal and the Kindle app on my Kompakt, being able to change their icons to the sms and e-reader icon would be awesome.
