The weather widget does not display the current weather. Tapping the widget opens the Weather app, which does display the current weather – often very different from what the widget was displaying. To be truly useful, the widget should also display current weather.

@mbrailer Can you send us a screenshot of what you’re seeing & why what is wrong with what you are seeing? Is your location enabled?
Please keep in mind that different weather services might get their info from different services- so even if you have the same city listed, the temperature might differ slightly.
Thank you for responding. Here are two screen images taken a few seconds apart. In the first, the weather widget displays 48 degrees. After tapping the widget, the weather app displays 40 degrees. (If my memory is correct, 48 degrees is what the weather app reported when I last opened it.)
Prior to this test, I did a factory reset of my device, which removed some sideloaded apps.
