I have the Mudita Center up and running on my desktop computer. The Kompakt was USB connected and recognized - I can see device status, and the fact there is a OS upgrade.
When I go to the Kompakt phone and look at ‘about’, I can also see that there is an OS upgrade available.
Problem is when I press the ‘software update’, it polls and then says ‘can’t check for updates - no internet connection’.
Is there something I am missing?? Some access permission not provided to the Kompakt?
thanks – Roger

I think you gotta be on wifi to check on an update.

@rogerh113 I’ve asked our team as to what could be causing this behavior- I will get back to you once they answer.
@rogerh113 I talked with my team about this & they all suggested to make sure you are connected to wifi on your Kompakt or you have mobile data enabled. It should solve the issue. Please let us know how it goes. Feedback also helps other users who are experiencing similar issues.
I will likely give it a try today.
I sounds like the Mudita Center has no USB update capability (not an internet connection as far as the phone is concerned…
Given the functionality of the phone, and the simplicity of the Mudita Center, it would seem that the only useful function of the Mudita Center would be USB update capability.
I realize that the Support Team is probably double buried with work at this time. At some time, you might want to think about what the Mudita Center will actually do when it grows up…

@rogerh113 Thank you for the feedback, I will pass this on to the team.
I did upgrade the Kompakt OS today, and it would seem to have resolved the USB connect with Mudita Center. Have not tried the USB connection since the OS is already updated, but it does now initiate a USB connection screen on the Kompakt - good sign.
