Hi, I recently filled out the survey that was sent out for future updates. One of the questions about apps gave an example of using banking apps on the kompakt. I thought it was recommended to not use them due to safety reasons. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I think they said to not use banking app to not have some problem if you have a case with your account (hack etc…)

I think the main concern was security and sourcing and keeping the app updated.
I just use brave to log in the few times ive needed to.

We generally don’t recommend using banking apps on Mudita Kompakt because we can’t verify their security in this environment. Unless an APK is downloaded directly from your bank’s official source, there’s no reliable way to confirm that it’s safe or untampered with.
Additionally, since Kompakt doesn’t use a traditional app store, banking apps wouldn’t receive automatic security or version updates, which is especially important for apps that handle sensitive financial data.
