Two suggested improvements

I would like to recommend a couple of small but significant improvements for the Kompakt which I feel would enhance the user experience without compromising the Mutida ethos.

Firstly, it would be very useful having the SMS received /missed calls message displayed on the lock screen. Unlike most smartphones with LED or OLED displays, the advantage the phone has by having the E-ink display means that the message would always be visible without having to unlock the phone to check.

Secondly, with the music player. When in songs-list view, each song has the track title, artist and album shown. However, when playing the song, it is missing the album name. An extra line added underneath the artist name showing the album name can easily be accommodated by making the pictogram smaller.

I hope the Mutida development team will consider implementing these improvements for the next software update – I am sure they will prove popular with all owners of this great device.

I’ll check with the team whether lock-screen notifications are included alongside the upcoming custom lock screen work and will share more once I know.
