The ability to side load updates?

This is critical for me. I get that you added the desktop app feature, but I’d like the ability to side load updates.

Since the desktop app relies on someone maintaining it, and the software in is open source.
I’d like the ability to transfer my updates via USB.

Possible, I hope.

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, you will be able to flash the phone yourself with a MuditaOS image that you build yourself - we even have a proper tool for that in our MuditaOS repo.
