Syncing other calenders ie apple

It is also uncharitable to push for changes to the Kompakt that those of us who are privacy focused don’t need and which may affect the way the device works for us..
there is a simple solution if Apple calendar is that important to you, sideload a browser and access the calendar through iCloud

Accessing iCloud calendar through a web browser is not “simple” and would likely be barely functional. Additionally, notifications would not work. Like I said before, I’m near certain this feature would be opt-in.

And just to be clear:

opt-in: to choose to do or be involved in something

It would not be on by default.

Not sure how you can make this statement, unless you are part of the Mudita development team, but I would hope you are correct

I’m fully prepared to eat my words, but I would be genuinely shocked - it’s antithetical to their entire philosophy

If you want to do a one-time import to the native calendar, I wrote a post on how to do that here.
