Happy to have my Kompakt running with 2 lines, however I set up the SIM cards in in the wrong trays for my intentions. The line I wanted to run as an eSIM (which needs to be in Tray2) is unfortunately in Tray1. The service provider for the physical SIM card in Tray2 won’t convert to an eSIM (does not recognize the Kompakt IMEI) - so I would need to reverse the order of the physical SIM cards to have this work. Can I just turn off the phone and swap my SIM1 & SIM2 cards to enable transferring SIM2 to eSIM - or will that anger the phone or disable my services?

e-SIM does not need a physical SIM to be present, if you have not “converted” that SIM to be an e-SIM then I think you can take them out, put in just the one you want to be physical (in the correct place) and register the other one as an eSIM. (But if you already registered an eSIM then I think you’ll have slightly bigger headache)

Thanks for the input! I have not registered for an eSim yet. I was worried that even swapping the physical SIMs - Tray1 to Tray2 & vice versa -might not work, or cause issues since both SIMS are already functional in their current tray positions.
