Spam coming to exclusive Mudita email address

Good morning, i use email aliases for every account, and therefore have a specific one for this forum and for when i purchased my Kompact. This morning i received a spam email straight to my inbox (the first time ever, so a little disappointing its come from Mudita) and its come to my specific, Mudita, email address!

Has the Mudita email database been leaked, or is there some other sort of explanation, or is this just random luck?

No glass e-mail in my box so far.

This is an odd situation. We have not had any breach and I would like to stress the fact that Mudita DOES NOT share any email addresses with anyone. We are actually verty careful and even within the organization, only authorized personell have access to ths data. It could be a weird coincidance. Maybe a type in someone else’s email.

@xer0 I just checked my email’s spam folder and I have an email from a Chinese glass supplier. It’s very similar to yours, however not exactly the same, probably they tried to avoid being marked as spam.

I’ve had this email for 15 years and I’ve never have received any emails about Glass.

I would like to ask your when did you register your account/purchase your phone in the MuditaSite?

@urszula I would recommend you to talk with Lukasz and then edit your comment accordingly.

I generated my unique Mudita only address, August 2024.

My email is not unique for Mudita, however the glass email was the only Spam email that came from a website/app I hadn’t been registered before.

And this is a disturbing coincidence.

Yes, i use AnnonAddy to create fresh email addresses for every account i create, so its certainly targeted to that specific account, for which i only use here/Mudita store. Its roughly only the third piece of spam i have received in about 10 years, so i’m very careful!

@urszula Can you tag your team on this issue? Your team requested that email, and I sent it 3 weeks ago. There was no reply so 1 week ago I sent an email to Lukasz, and I still haven’t gotten a reply.

@urszula You can lock all the threads you want. That still doesnt explain why you, Lukasz or Karol haven’t replied to me since November.

Edit: you said that i need to report them through the support channels. Which I have.
Still haven’t received any reply.

I’ve spoken to Karol and I was informed that Lukasz handled this with you. Everything was handled and a response was sent to you via email though our support channels. I’ve also read your acknowledgement of that response.

That said, I would also like to add that your tone here is inappropriate and accusatory.
We’re happy to engage respectfully through the proper channels, but demands and confrontational language will not be tolerated. Further communication needs to remain constructive, or it will not continue.
