Sky shows the weather on three tabs: Today, the five days after it, and the rain radar.
The forecast is Open-Meteo’s: high and low, the chance of rain, sunrise and sunset. The radar is kRadar’s, by Ondřej Koloničný — the last two hours of RainViewer radar over a map with state lines, and a rough half hour ahead worked out on the phone.
Both are for where the phone is, or for a place you choose in settings. While a place is set, the phone’s position is not read.
If you have a weather station, its reading leads Today: temperature, wind, rain, humidity, pressure, UV. Four kinds:
an Ecowitt gateway, read on your own network with no account;
Weather Underground, for any station that uploads there, with the free API key it gives station owners;
a WeatherFlow Tempest, heard on your network;
a Davis WeatherLink Live, read on your network.
What I am least sure of is the last two. They are written from WeatherFlow’s and Davis’s published formats, and nobody here owns either, so they have not been tried on a real one. If you have one, whether Today fills in would be good to hear.
As the other apps you created, it’s a great upgrade from the stock os, especially the integration with glance is perfect, letting me see the most important weather facts quickly.
A suggestion for the weather app would be to be able to add a second location (maybe as a second tab or so). I am working in a different city then I live in and the rain forecast can differ sometimes so this would be a great feature for me.
I do find the radar blacks out a little soon to see any detail. I wish it would show a little more gradation within the weather pattern and use the limited greyscale palette.

@hanswilli Sky 0.8.0 has it. Settings → Second place, chosen with the same search as the first. Once it’s set, the two names sit in a line above the tabs, the one you’re looking at in bold, and a press flips Today, Forecast and Radar to the other. It remembers which you left it on.
Your station and the lock-screen line stay with the first place, so Glance keeps showing home.

@Little-User You were right, and it was worse than it looked. RainViewer’s images make only drizzle see-through; every colour from light rain up comes in solid, so Sky drew nearly all of it as black. Sky 0.8.1 reads each colour against RainViewer’s own scale instead and draws five greys: drizzle, light, moderate, heavy, and black only for the heaviest cores. On tonight’s rain over Quebec and New England the black went from most of the map to a few small patches. Borders and town names are now drawn on top of the rain, so they stay readable inside it.
Useful meteo-app that shows a lot of informations (like “feels like” for the temperature). I like the possibility to have two locations, but this made a little problem, now I don’t see the line for the wind.
A question: why can I see in the forecasts two lines for the rain and temperature for 24 hours, but for today I only see one line for 12 hours?

@kiss_less Thank you, and you found a real one. With a second place set, the line holding the two names pushed everything on Today down a row, and the wind fell just off the first screen. In Sky 0.8.2 the names take the title’s place at the top instead, so the wind is back where it was; a press on them still switches places.
On the hours: Today shows the next twelve hours from now, on one line: the part of the day still ahead of you. A day in the forecast is shown whole, all twenty-four hours, so it gets two lines of twelve, before noon and after.

@mertgndz Good idea, and 0.8.3 is up with it; the card is updated. Swipe across the rain strip on Today, or tap Later under it, and it shows the twelve hours after the first twelve, with when rain is likely in them and the hours they cover. Swipe back, or tap Now, for the first twelve.
@Little-User’s way still works for tomorrow from midnight on, but Tomorrow starts at midnight, so this evening and tonight fell between the two. Now they don’t.
