I am just getting familiar with the Mudita Kompakt and I like it a lot, even though I have seen a lot of small bugs/glitches.
Lock screen / home screen differences:
When I wake my phone up, it shows time and date (which is nice) but once I unlock it, the time and date shrink by a few pixels – and it does not look intentional! If time and date on both screens would be aligned perfectly, it would appear so much more professional and clean.
Settings screen (flash light, brightness, volume):
All three inputs have an upper part/header with an icon. Now, that header has a thicker or slightly blurred border, which makes it look like a weird double border. I took screenshots using the webadb but I don’t know how to post them here.
Cards icon:
Same problem here – due to blurriness/worse image quality, the cards icon (and ONLY the cards icon), appears to have a thicker border! Look closely and you will see that the icons have very different resolutions.
The phone screen obviously does not show greys. It displays all colors as black or white (using some threshhold). Together with bad quality images, this creates problems.
The solution is super simple: Better graphics with only two colors (black and white, no greys).
Now, I can do that for you if you want! I’d do it for free because I love the concept of the phone and your philosophy on it. Just give me all the custom graphics and I will trace every line, making them true vector graphics that we can then export in the ideal resolution without antialiasing (which is the magic word here!!!). What do you think?

A moment ago, something strange happened: After using the eBook reader, the phone switched from that black-and-white mode into the “normal” mode, where grey nuances were rendered – and that looked so much better! I mean, the graphics should be improved but also consider not using the strict black/white threshhold rendering at all.
