Has anyone tried sideloading a text-only launcher (e.g. Olauncher or similar)? Really curious how this looks & feels

I tried installing Olauncher but didn’t manage to set it as a default one due to some UI glitch. On the other hand, since the launcher setting is not available in settings, I don’t know if changing defaults would just mess things up.

I tried O-, M-, Un-launcher, Niagara and Lawnchair. All of them animate text somehow e.g. when opening the app drawer and scrolling through the list. It feels sluggish and not pleasant to my eyes to be honest. I prefer the pager of the original Mudita launcher even if it’s just for its better optimization for the Kompakt.
The UI to select the standard launcher is in fact broken. I was only able to managed it through ADB.

Responding to keep track of a solution too because downloading the O launcher didn’t work for me.
