Anyone else frustrated with how long the return/repair process takes. I have been trying to get a return label to ship my kompakt back to Mudita because the offline switch is faulty consantly going on and off after turning it into online mode and even that happening by just touching the side of the button. It is now thursday and I still don’t have a return label to ship this phone back. Mudita do better with your processing time, customer service needs to be much better than this
Whatever happened to the customer is always right?
I can relate to your frustration - simply returning the new Kompakt device once it is out of the original package for full credit is impossible. This seems to be the standard with all companies, it’s common.
Product returns are undesirable. I run my business differently. When a customer has a defective product I apologize and provide them a replacement. I don’t insist on return as it is a burden on the customer, but if they do return the defective item I use it to improve my product.
Satisfied customers may not tell others but a dis-satisfied customer makes it well known - that’s my experience.
@Minimalmann79 If you are following the process and contacted Mudita I think you don’t have to wait for a label
After reaching out to us about your return, please ship the product back to us to the following address:
MUDITA Sp. z o.o.
DTW Logistics Fulfillment Center
ul. Sochaczewska 98C

Tel. +48 223 433 783
They pay for the label , so yes I have to wait for them.
You are an influential participant in the forum community.
Expedite shipping, I’d think you could be reimbursed. (not my company)
@Minimalmann79 Our team is still waiting for pictures of the malfunction of your device. They’re ready to go once they receive your pics. I’ve explained everything in the DM.
I sent them but like I said I am not sure how they can tell from pictures that the switch is faulty, there is no damage to the phone, they need the phone in their hands so they can see it vibrating like crazy on and offline when the switch is turned on and off, just seemed like a very unecessary step. I get it if the phone is visibally damage and I dropped it a bunch of times but that was not the case. Either way I have sent the photos and I am hoping this speeds things up. If I do get a replacement device am I allowed to choose the color or does it have to be the color I am returning? Keep in my mind I purchased this from dumbwirelss not Mudita.
@Minimalmann79 I totally get it that it can be a hassle, but it’s just policy. They ask this for everyone & the intention is more for documentation purposes.
I hope I get the shipping label today cause its now Tuesday and I emailed them starting this process last Monday. They did say yesterday I would get the label ‘the next day’ so I am hoping that happens
I confirmed this morning that you should be getting a label today.
I’ll ask and see what I can do. ![]()
Just sent my Kompakt off to Poland, I miss it already lol. I have to use the Cat S22 flip till then, god I hate this phone lol
Real quick I just wanted to post here regarding the faulty Offline+ switch. I had the same issue with my Kompakt a while back. The Offline+ switch was registering state changes rapidly when I wasn’t even touching the switch. My device would vibrate and I would start seeing the text box on the left side of the screen rapidly switching back and forth between “Connected” and “Offline+.” It didn’t happen all the time, but when it did it was pretty unbearable.
I just wanted to post the solution that worked for me. I went to my local Micro Center (computer store), and bought a can of Contact Cleaner, as well as a can of compressed air (or Air Duster). Basically what I did was this:
- Power the Kompakt OFF completely
- In one or two short, quick bursts, spray the Contact Cleaner directly into the Offline+ switch and switch it back and forth repeatedly
- Spray the compressed air duster directly into the Offline+ switch in a few short bursts to dry and clear away the liquid Contact Cleaner
- After a few minutes, power the Kompakt back on
After I did this, my Offline+ switch has worked perfectly with NO MORE rapid flickering whatsoever. I recommend trying this for anyone who has the same problem with their Kompakt. I think what happens over time is just some dust or micro debris gets into the switch causing it to get confused and it can’t properly register which state it’s in. Cleaning it out this way is completely safe for the device and seems to have entirely solved the problem for me.
Mine never happened over time though, I noticed it fairly soon after purchase
Thanks for sharing the idea!
I’m facing the same issue with my Kompakt, it truly feels like dust inside the switch is causing this. Would you recommend this procedure @urszula ?
When odd behaviors occur, (even though you managed to fix the issues) I would still encourage you to contact our tech support at [email protected]. This way they are aware that things like this are happening and can offer support if this happens again.
