Dear MK Owners,
I (and others) have bemoaned the lack of a timer app on the MK since its launch. The official response has been disinterest. Plenty of people have pointed to other timer apps available to download on F-Droid or Aurora Store etc. Perhaps I’m weird, but I’ve never found one that I liked and was optimised for e-ink. So, one afternoon I clambered onto the back of Claude.ai to create one.
Enter ‘Pronto’. It’s a multiple timer app with a simple, high-contrast UI that I’m pleased to say meets my needs.
Now, this is a helpful community and plenty of people have helped me lots with their own apps (and advice), so I’d like to make Pronto available. Here’s the thing: I’m not a developer, so I can’t maintain this app, enhance it or support. I don’t even know where to begin putting it on github. Below is a short (amateurish) video of the app.
If anyone is interested in taking ownership of it and supporting it, please let me know. If not, don’t worry, at least I can stop pestering Mudita for it.
