Is there any statement by Mudita on how the tariff increases from the US will impact prices or change the prices or shipment dates for any currently ordered Kompakt phone?
@montymallory At Mudita, we COVER/PAY for all the duty/customs/tariffs. The only thing you pay for is Shipping. So if you are asked to pay anything by the courier, please make sure to contact us directly.
If they do try to charge us on delivery we would just not accept the Kompakt until we contact you guys?
I think they would inform you first, because I don’t think FedEx drivers can accept payment. In Poland, they usually inform the receiver first. At least, that’s what happened to me. When I ordered Jose’s book, I got a notice in my mailbox that I have to pay like a customs fee & then I can get my package. Same thing happened when I ordered some Skincare/makeup from Australia.
Basically, I had to pay FIRST & then they would attempt delivery. However, I will ask our logistics guy to double check.
Didn’t you get a notice from FedEx when you first ordered something from us & we had to call them and clear it up. I may be mixing it up, but I have a recollection that we’ve discussed this issue on the FORUM. I gotta check.
Yeah I remember that, he did actually ask for payment at the door, but I don’t remember how we ended up resolving it, was like 3 years ago lol

Hey everyone!
Wanted to see if anyone was having this same issue - but looks like UPS can’t deliver my phone until this extra fee is resolved. I was one of the folks that ordered the phones before the April deadline, so I thought everything was clear with the shipping. I wasn’t aware there would be an extra charge, even with ordering early.
UPS is on their third delivery attempt tomorrow, and I’ve contacted Mudita ( to contact UPS to clear the fee up) but haven’t heard back. I’m wondering if I should front this tariff charge and if Mudita will reimburse me? If UPS makes their third delivery attempt tomorrow and it still isn’t clear, they said my package will get shipped back to Poland, and thus the whole process all over again. Any pointers would be very appreciated! Seems like time is of the essence so maybe I should front the cost?? AH!
