Please recommend wired earbuds for talking/listening

Could someone please recommend wired earbuds for talking on the phone? Something like the apple earbuds (for which the microphone doesn’t work because of apple’s unique design). Nothing with too much bass since I don’t have good hearing and just want to amplify voice. Many thanks!

I haven’t heard of air tube headphones before - they are beautiful! For the amount of time I need them (maybe a couple of hours each month) I’m not too worried about emf from typical wired headphones. thank you though

Not earbubs but I would recommend KOSS KHPI30. Best sound I have ever heard on sub 150 euro headphones (they’re only 25 euro), super lightweight and the remote works well with the Kompakt. Best purchase of the year (besides the Kompakt).

I ended up getting Ludos Specta. I can’t comment on listening to music, but these work fine for voice calls.

Can you please tell me if the mic quality of the Mudita Earphone was crystal clear during phone calls ?

I use an old version of Bose wired noise cancelling earbuds which I really like. I also noticed that you can pre-order a new version of these here: Shop Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds | Bose

They are great for listening since they have active noise cancelling. Not sure of how I sound to others though, since I rarely use them during phone calls.

Sennheiser does very cheap earbuds (30€) with a microfone, I can highly recommend them for the price. They have very nice audio. It seems I have an older version (CX300s).

They also have a version with USB-C instead of 3,5mm headphone jack, if you need that.

thank you for your answer. Does the microphone work on the Kompakt since this is not a jack 3.5mm connection but an usb-c

The Ludos Specta earbuds that I bought are inexpensive and no one has complained about not being able to hear me well with that microphone. So I think the Specta microphone is good enough for phone conversations. But when I have to give presentations from my computer, I use a better condenser mic and there is a noticeable difference there.

I don’t know. Mine is the old version (from 10 years ago), and they do have a 3.5mm jack. Not sure how it works with the new ones.
