Phone and Calendar integration

Hey everyone,
I like to use my phone as everyday assistant. Calendar does help to remember all important dates. My problem with it that it doesn’t automatically populates using contact’s information - birthday, anniversary, etc. Additionally, it is not even possible to add dates to contacts.
It seems more intuitive (to me) to provide dates in contact cards of Phone app as it is implemented in Google’s phone app.
I understand that I can download third-party apps to achieve this. But I prefer native apps where I can.
Will this feature be implemented in the future?

Calendar syncing is something the team knows the community is after. I know that some form of it will be added in a future update, however, I will ask for specifics.

In the meantime, have you seen Homie? It’s a app made with Mudita Kompakt in mind by one of our Mudita Forum Community members @oyvind

Thanks for the suggestion! It solves different problem but does it nicely.
I am not really after calendar syncing - I just want to be able to add different dates to my contacts and the Calendar app to use those. No cloud, no sync with different devices. Everything stays locally and is open to export/backup on need (through Mudita Center will be the best option, I guess).
Is it the same feature that development team have in mind?
