@kezo Just like @spencersabo said, for Duraspeed, going to the Developer Settings, click the search glass icon, and typing in, “Duraspeed” seems to work great. BTW, side note, I’ve also experimented with turning Duraspeed completely off. Can’t say I noticed much of a difference either way, so I just keep it on (figure stick to default settings as much as possible and hope for optimal results).
As for battery optimization, I have been using the Activity Manager app (Activity Manager | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository) to access most of those built-in but hidden settings (you can also acess Duraspeed through it). Once in the Activity Manager app, type, “Settings,” into the top search bar, and click on the Settings icon (com.android.settings). Click the search glass icon again and type in, “Optimization.” The second option should say, “Settings$HighPowerApplicationsActivity.” That’s the one! It’s also recommended to add podcast and music apps there. I’ve just come to accept that if I want my Garmin connected, I’m not going to easily sustain the 2-3 day battery life, and I’m fine with that. My battery charges to 80 every day, and after a normal day of work texts and syncing workouts, my battery is at 45% by end of day. I just suck it up and charge every night anyway.
