The timezone information of MuditaOS is outdated. This is probably a leftover of the rather old Android version MuditaOS is based upon. This leads me to having to change my timezone everytime they change the clock in Europe (daylight saving nonsense). Did that just happen last sunday in Europe?
Anyway, the timezones for Mexico seem not to be correct. The available options do not match the actual timezones in Mexico. Furthermore, the daylight saving nonsense has been abolished quite a few years ago.
While I hope that someday MuditaOS will be updated with all the correct timezones, I don’t expect that investigating the actual timezones in Mexico will get a high priority.
However, I think that there is a very easy alternative: just add a switch that allows me to disable the daylight saving nonsense.
