OTG support for Kompakt

Would be good to have an OTG support fully functional.
Now the OTG usb drive is discovered correctly, however you cannot:

  • play music directly from it (the music player shows all music but cannot play)
  • read books (the ebook reader crashes all the time while opened)

I talked to our team & they confirmed that we currently don’t support OTG in Mudita Kompakt. They said that it’s quite complicated & not very minimalist, so I am not sure if they have made a decision one way or another.

@ovy This youtuber has tried a lot of peripherals on the Kompakt and they do work, so USB OTG is supported.

I just played music from my usb c drive in Auxio music player.

The issue here is the Mudita Music app and the Mudita Ereader app don’t support reading data from OTG drives.
