Sideloaded apps may not work as desired, getting support here in the forum from others that experience the same issues may be your best option. I don’t use location for applications on my phone or home computer. Location probably isn’t essential for most apps to work. The browsers generally know your location based on network location anyway… it’s not precise but good enough.
A device that has a browser as part of it’s standard applications would give you less frustration and far more peace… You are spending time trying to do things on the Kompakt that are so easy to do on an inexpensive old used android device.
I’d ask myself why am I doing this?
