So you offer 3 colors - black, white, and gray. But all options use the same black front bezel.
Do you have any plans to offer a white/gray model where the front bezel is the same color as the back/sides?
I’ve been considering a Mudita Kompakt for a long time, and this is the one thing that keeps stopping me from buying one.
Haha, same for me. Not that I would hate the black bezels, but something feels just a little odd when the screen and back are both white-ish.
I proposed something earlier in May. Basically screen protectors with White/gray borders like how iPhones from 6-8 series used to have. Didn’t get much traction.
Yeah, something like this would be a smart solution. with no need to make separate variants of whole screen modules. (I was not online for a long time, so I have not seen your proposal, oopsie)
Something I really don’t get: why don’t manufacturers make the bezel the same color as the E‑ink screen? It would look absolutely stunning and much more cohesive, in my opinion.
I would love to have a white/gray front screen bezel. That was one thing I really liked about the light phone 2… the light gray matched the screen well
I have passed this idea on to the team. It’s actually a super-neat way to personalize Kompakt with different FRONT colors.
