Hi. excited for updates. Mostly I am excited to be able to silence the sound of texts while leaving on the sound for calls. I think that is coming? But I have a request about that. I hate being able to see how many texts there are when I click the phone to turn it on. I value being able to be fully away from texts until I desire to check them. I am hoping that with the update there will be an option to have no notifications about texts on the locked screen.

I could not agree more with this post. This is one of the other things I don’t like about this phone. I don’t want to see text notifications on the lock screen. When I had the light phone 3, we had the ability to just shut off text messaging completely and then be able to turn it back on without missing any texts. There’s sometimes where I don’t wanna be pulled into looking at texts. I hope the team will prioritize implementing this.

If you download KompaktX (it’s a custom notification shade for the Kompakt) you can set the notification sound to silent which will silence all notifications, but leave the call ringer on.

Out of the box the notifications in Kompakt operating system should be improved.
I believe there are downsides to sideloading apps, such as unknown vetting of developers, security concerns, and no assurance that sideloaded apps going to work with the next Mudita OS version. Am I the only one with such concerns?
