No Custom Alarms for Harmony Yet?

I updated my Harmony for the first time in a long time and was excited to see I could upload files! I quickly uploaded a file I had masterfully cut into the perfect size for my alarm… only to click through the click and find it can only be used as a relaxation tone. Womp womp womppppp…

This feels like a pretty big miss to me. The current alarms are peaceful enough, but I’d like to add my own. Please allow custom alarms.

I thought this was something that was already in the works per previous posts?

@mmallen37 Thanks for the feedback.
The custom audio upload feature has been available since June/July this year :slight_smile: I’m happy you’ve finally discovered it.
As for the upload to the alarms- you’re not the only one who has requested this feature. We have passed it on to the team & it’s being taken under consideration :slight_smile:

I’m bumping up this thread because we just released the Mudita Center update which will allow you to upload your own CUSTOM alarm sounds to your Mudita Harmony!

So in summary Harmony 1, with latest update, can have mp3 alarms? Very nice, really appriciated extended functionality, that was not avail at first!
Should it be short 15-20 sec clip or full mp3 tunes can be played? Can they be used for something like relaxation and bedtime modes, not only alarm?

@RasVoja Once you upload a custom audio file to Mudita Harmony, it can used as relaxation, or you can set it as an alarm.

Great you should promote this Harmony feat more on web promo pages and in videos. As Harmony 1 is well position as mid expensive but advanced e-ink clock, affordable even compared to Android smart clocks and innovative on design, software side and e-ink.
