As many in our AMAZING Mudita Forum community already know, Mudita Kompakt users have been sharing app recommendations, compatibility feedback, installation tips, and troubleshooting advice across the Forum for a long time.
Now, those conversations finally have a dedicated home.
We’re excited to introduce Kompakt Community App Rankings, a new section on the Mudita Forum where users can share experiences with apps running (sideloaded) on Mudita Kompakt, rate them, browse community feedback, and discover what works well on Kompakt.
This new space also gives developers a place to share apps designed for Mudita Kompakt, including projects built with the Mudita Mindful Design framework and apps tailored for E Ink devices.
For a full breakdown of how the feature works, what’s included, and the philosophy behind it, check out our new blog post:
We’d love to hear what you think, and if you’ve already found apps that work especially well on Kompakt, feel free to explore the new space & share your experience with the Mudita community.
Just bumping this thread up for visibility in case anyone missed it earlier
Have you had a chance to check out our new space dedicated to sideloaded apps on Mudita Kompakt:
If you’ve found apps that work especially well on Kompakt, or if you’ve built apps specifically for Mudita Kompakt using the Mudita Mindful Design framework, we’d love for you to share them there.
The goal is to create one dedicated place where new and existing Kompakt users can easily discover apps, read real community feedback, share experiences, and learn what works well on the device.
@T9Pilot Thank you for reporting this. I’ve escalated the issue.
What browser are you using?
What steps did you take that resulted in an HTTP 302 error? Like what did you click?
Have you cleared your browser’s cookies and cache?
If you’ve used any of the apps already submitted in the section, please make sure to share your feedback with the community
If there are other apps which you’d love to see there, don’t be afraid to add them
AND…as always, let me know if you need any help posting.
Love this idea! Can we have developers provide information with what’s been updated with each new app release? Otherwise, I have to go to the app’s GitHub page to read about the app updates instead.
Also, perhaps Mudita can have apps that follow the Mindful design be required to be in one app store (like the Mind Apps one)? It would make finding, downloading, and updating the apps seamless.
This would also be a robust response to Light’s developer announcement yesterday. For many, it’s Kompakt vs. Light Phone. I know Mudita can match Light’s refined approach announced yesterday.
