Why has Voice over LTE been postponed again?
-Added VoLTE support in Poland, Germany, Denmark, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada and Austria
is now again under “unreleased” on Github.
This was supposed to come with the last update…
I installed the update yesterday and then tried again today with the Pure. Even though the MP02 is now my everyday device, I think it’s important to test new updates on the Pure and give you further feedback. As far as network stability is concerned, the Pure is now back to the level of the 1.5.X updates. Since the 1.7.X, I often had the problem at home that the signal was suddenly gone, where I had two bars before, and then it only came back after a restart. This seems to be fixed now. That was one of the problems why I could no longer use the Pure in everyday use after almost a year, because it no longer had a stable signal with the 1.7 updates, where it was still there before.
What I unfortunately noticed, however, were problems with the e-ink screen that were not there before. When writing a text message, it happens that a letter in the middle of the word is not properly visible. If you delete the letter and write it again, it is visible again. Likewise, if the word slides up one line after writing it again, the letter is also visible correctly.
I am delighted that you are continuing to work on the Mudita OS, but it is a pity that new small errors creep in almost every time.
Yeah it seems that devs are focused on easier to fix bugs . I m pretty sure the bug with the two bars will probably appear after some time as it is not mentioned in the fixes. I m still unable to read sms in unsupported characters . A simple option to use another font would fix it
Music can’t be played in the background. So taking it to the gym is not possible as I want to listen to music and also keep notes of my progress . Bluetooth compatibility has issues, so using it with Bluetooth speaker is not an option. No shuffle option as well , no seek forward so podcasts and audiobooks are not an option .call waiting hasbt been fixed as well , whenever I receive a call while talking , it ends the call and I have no idea who was calling .
I m pretty sure once the new phone is released , pure will not get any updates or for sure not the attention it needs to become a usable device. For now it seems it would take 2-3 years of updates to make it usable as daily driver .

Hopefully no more fixes (not new feats) policy will be reverted, after Kompakt is mature. Pure needs just a bit more work (this was last update).
Long and boring customs check is now over and I expect Harmony and Pure to be in my hands this week
Pure Serbian bussiness (in worse sense)
Some UPS middle man, before customs was suspicious since bank statement showed that there were multuple transfers (likely RSD to USD to PLZ) and acussed me of
overpaying product. It took me days with her managers and customs to get package to move to paying and even now I am asking for unlawful holding refund, that I don`t want to pay for UPS services and loss of several weeks of guarantee.
Now, it has moved to customs determination of fees, and I expect it to come in few days.
Complete chaos of mix of postcommunism (Polish administrating or Yugoslav before 90s) and incompetent capitalist middle men.
What solves is going to middle and higher managment, UPS international and threatening with lawyars.

I have been told you have paid 30 USD VAT etc. and it was passed (normally I would pay 20 to 40 percent value for new goods, but I declared OUTLET / USED)
First impressions: Phone is sturdy and great, UI is nice but takes time, manual should be better on placing SIM card Software is updated thanks, and DARK MODE (beta) is real nice. Reception is good, SMS works on A1 Serbia, only no VOLTE (is Austria on?). Only complaint is too small font for someone with eye condition, you really need larger font even on such small screen *Nokias could do it on same size. Transfering mp3 and contacts, will test BT file transfer and headphones next day. Generally its easy to love it, minus sooo small font (OK been used Androids quite long but I recall fathers Nokias have larger fonts / icons over the whole screen thing).
Phone will be set up by my wife (and her cats(.
Next year I plan to buy wristwatch or Kompakt, maybe a clock more for me and Pure case, if I dont get it from old users.
If I pay transfer, could you use other courier from Serbia that is not UPS? More impressions soon
On UI: how to delete text? Cursor moving and typing push text further, no overwrite. Left and right keys are options
Melodies in phone are pure beauty, but yet no option to set mp3 as ringtone or alarm,.
Packaging for transport was great and of devices is beauty and style.
Oh yes, unlocking phone is bit too tricky. It was simpler two or one key long press on Nokias
I all ask A1 Serbia why they dont provide it the same way as back home, unless its country dependent service you negotiate.,

Hands down my fav looking and feeling dumbphone of all time, there is a user in Canada saying its working for him on Rogers so I am so tempted to try one more time lol
OK So far I ve learned to delete text Bluetooth work with my headphones, but I dont know how to increase volume. In mp3 player there are options for artist etc. selection, but seems not to work :DDD Bluetooth file transfer even txt files seems impossible. But yet love design, simplicity. e-ink and physical keys
I also like latest update has introduced dark theme (beta). I dont recall reading about it anywhere.
However I find many aspects unfinished
Bluetooth file transfer exist but does not support even TXT files
Calendar does not support events / reminders
Messanging does not support creation of new SMS, just from contacts?
Notes cannot be typed via Center
VOLTE does not work on networks that support VOLTE (I have asked provider if they can do anything to enable it)
mp3 player has rows for artist, genre etc. but does not read them and cannot sort by them, no playlist, no background play
Contact do not support symbols in names like #+ and star needed to check credit and similar SSD services
T9 typing and large fonts would be most welcome
Sounds on charging and some actions would be welcome
Settings could be more logical in order, e.g. changing phone melody is in Phone-System I believe
This is NOT asking for NEW features, this is mainly fixing given applications to expected, Nokia 30 level (as on old Nokia phones similar or lower specs)
MAJOR BUG: If network level drops (indoor, low levels) phone signal will NOT restore after coming out, phone needs restart and meanwhile drains battery on searching for signal
