My first Mudita order - Harmony 1 and Pure 1

Hello,
Today I have finally purchased Pure 1 phone and Harmony 1 clock. I found their outlet prices fair compared to starting prices of products, and the products being software mature as possible.
I am well aware they are both EOL products, and limited - Pure in signal strenght and Harmony in no memory/no mp3, but I find them thrilling and well desigmed solution.
The new Kompakt is not appealing as I can customize my smartphone to my needs, Pure 2 is far away and Harmony 2 is still a bit expensive so I find thouse products well up to my financial abilities and needs.
Will tell you more once they pass Serbian customs

Any advices on Pure and Harmony best use 1 are welcome.

I have software installed for updates.
Since charges do not come with phones (EU directive for all except Xiaomi) I am asking should I use 35W, 120W or slower like 17W charger for Pure and Harmony?
Speed charging is not essential, battery longelivity is (since Pure and Harmony can be replaced only by Mudita)
Do I get any warranty on outlet products at least for battery?

Sincerely,
Vojin

You can upload custom files to Harmony & you can even set custom alarms

When you plug your Mudita Harmony into the computer and open Mudita Center, you will see the stats there. Sane with Mudita Pure.

Surely, center is already updated and installed. Especially for CSV contact import to Pure, mp3 upload to Pure and Harmony and Pure full keyboard SMS typing, Pure backup.(and troubleshooting if needed).
Good all in one solution, feature near old good Nokia Suite.
I see in past Center used ask for multi file selection for mp3 import, has this been fixed by now?

On warranty I have been informed by tech support guy.

Only worrisome issues are charging (discussed) and battery replacement (seems everybody is ignoring)

Can you be more specific? Which product’s battery and charging are you concerned with? And in what way?

All possible combinations for Pure and Harmony 1:

  • Basic/high priority: Proper charging that saves baterry life. Xiaomi smart chargers or separate 17W multiple USB 5V abeit Chinese unit? (these are my current options) OR buying separate charger (which? You sell one but it does not specify)
  • Obtaining replacable batteries: I believe at Pure I can replace battery, if no more complex issues arrise with rest of electronics. This is handy for extended phone uses (Carrying 2nd battery) OR in case it just battery failure, I can extend phone use without reporting issue.
= Real battery replacement, maintenance needed since I intend to use Harmony long term (as long as possible, i could buy another clock for another room)
and even Pure , if first one if reliable enough, and as backup phone.

I would not be a drama queen if I haven`t very big problems with otherwise perfectly useful phones like Sagem, Xiocera/Balmuda, even Russian Yota, when it came to battery replacement/minor repair, at least in Serbia and even with willing to send abroad for few weeks.
In the ended, phones whose life could be extended and that could be, with some tech restrictions, be used even today, became useless bricks. At that included innovative phones with e.g. early closed sourced touch interfraces, partially usabe back solar cells, or back second ink screen that could work on its own, mirror Android screen, be used when taking pictures for great view abeit in gray and that could even retain last information when battery went dry.

Sincerely,
Vojin

Nice, I would have loved the pure if it worked in Canada, even though its a basic device I just loved the look of it and loved carrying it around when I did have it, will always miss that phone!

From other peoples experience:
I believe its provider dependent. Trying one with best coverage / reception in your urban area should give some results. Indoor, travel and rural perception might have temporary disconnections.
For my own testing, I am still waiting for Serbian customs and FedEx to do their magic (and take some more of my money)

Oh trust me I owned this phone like 3 times and tested it on basically all providers in Canada lol, it was a pain in the ass, very frustrating experience and I wasted a lot of money switching between providers

I ll use prepaid cards to avoid cost, sad to hear none worked with CA

Yeah literally tried every provider, it did work decently on one but it was just not reliable, and when you have kids you need a phone that is reliable
