Thanks for sharing! Where do you download Spotify Lite from? Does not show up for me in Aurora Store ![]()
apkpure I think it was. There are a few sources online
You mentioned using the built-in AOSP timer and Mudita’s alarms app still being unreliable, did you try the AOSP alarms app? It’s been very reliable for me, a bit less readable because of the dark mode but I switched to it because it allows me to one-off disable an upcoming alarm without turning off that alarm for the next days. (first I made sure to allowlist it in both Duraspeed and the hidden HighPowerApplicationsActivity settings, not sure if it was needed though)
(And yes, hopefully Mudita can just fix their alarm app
)
Would you say that it’s more reliable than the Mudita one for the time-being? I love Mudita’s design but just can’t trust using it till it works either, but would love to just drop my iPhone out of the picture, and this is pretty much the only reason it’s still used at this point.
I didn’t experience any problems like the ones you mentioned so maybe it’s worth a try? I remember I couldn’t figure out how to dismisss an alarm one time when it triggerred while I was inside Signal or some other app, the alarm overlay just didn’t show, so I restarted the phone. Similar thing happened to me once when I was experimenting with using a sideloaded app for Phone functionality instead of the built-in one. But it only happened once and other than that it’s been great
It looks great! Would you please consider sharing what kind of custom software / launcher are you using?
what are you recording with just curious
@jordan Apple vision pro
Really interesting thank you Ryan!
I think I heard “Nova Launcher”
my bad, it was niagra launcher. not sure why I said Nova in the video lol.
Thanks ryanass!
Because it was mentioned somewhere in the thread here is what the Nova launcher looks like. I use Blaux Black icons to give the apps a more cohesive look, for sideloaded apps, than the default Mudita launcher. Nova also lets me rearrange the apps.
I have rooted the phone and installed MicroG, Macrodroid, Key Mapper.
The apps on my homepage are: google maps, chrome, Authenticator Pro, Mudita contacts, Mudita phone, Mudita sms, Google Calendar, Audiobookshelf, PaybyPhone, Google Photos, Google Chat, Whatsapp, Uber, CX file Explorer.
Being able to use microG would be awesome. I think thats what prevents me from being able to use libby on my kompakt
How did you root the Kompact?
@nuclearblooms I use Libby on my Kompakt every day, and I do not have microG and am not rooted.
If you want to describe what you’re experiencing when you try using Libby, I may be able to help you get it working.
@paxristi thanks! Turns out it is magically working now… You must have scared it into submission.
I just want to add to ask if anyone else has attempted to install Lineage GSI on the Kompakt?
