Music: Post one that make you feel well

Everyone has different music styles. It is not the discussion. I’m leaving one of the songs that I used to listen to when I’m creating courses and slides for talks and seminars.

If you have any that may make us feel well, I’m sure we would like to listen to it.

I discovered this one while watching a Light Phone II review, and it sounds soo great, it’s been made by an indie band Ghost Peaks: https://youtu.be/6BtSd08R928?t=205

@roberto I’ve never heard of this band, but I really like their sound. Thanks for posting.

I know we could all just post our favourite songs here, but if you are specifically asking for music that brings about a sense of “wellness”, spiritual fulfillment even, I would urge any readers to stop what they’re doing, find a quiet place, use some good speakers or headphones, and turn up the volume on the following:

The Lark Ascending (Composer Ralph Vaughan Williams). My favourite rendition of it is performed by the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, conducted by Neville Marriner, with Iona Brown doing the solo. ( Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzONNtE_WqM )

It doesn’t matter what style of music someone likes, whenever they hear it, they ask what it is. It’s like somebody picked some remote piece of English countryside at dawn and distilled it.

In a similar vein, but more folk/rock oriented, I’d also suggest Songs from the Wood, Jack in the Green and Cup of Wonder by Jethro Tull. ( Link to album: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nCpOMqaKrro1JTnOQl_Txb4KWs8LgInzQ )

Incidentally, lest you think I’m just some “old fogey” who’s out of touch with the modern era and not “down with the kids”, all the above music was already pretty dated by the time I was born…

I quite like “Unbreakable” by “Two Steps From Hell”

Also “Sogno di Volare” by Christopher Tin, which was used as the main theme for Sid Meier’s Civilization 6.

When I want a laid back, relaxed and calm feeling, I put on something like Jack Johnson. Simple songs with good lyrics. This is one of my favorites, guess it reminds me of my childhood a bit:

To relax (or feel well), I need silence above all. But if music is what I need to enter into well-being, then it’s from
