I also give nicknames to some of my things, but more from a practical point of view. Like, I call STOLP my ‘Sanity Safe’

I’ve got a Boox Palma which at home is my defacto mobile and my iPhone goes away. My wife nicknamed it Patsy and it’s stuck :joy:

That Palma looks cool! Is it degoogled?

I call my Town & Country “kabanos” because it’s my first formally owned car and I only allow my kids to eat “kabanosy” inside so that mess is manageable.

@buiosu It’s a cracking little device. Had it quite a while and it’s what’s convinced me that an eink screen phone is right for me, and that it’s really not that difficult to leave the Apple ecosystem. It’s not degoogled although I can’t imagine there would be much of an issue in doing so if you wanted.
For me, it’s the perfect companion device to the Mudita to keep the smartphone apps I still want access to available without the same enticement as oled displays.

I think definitely MuPu - Purity, I am a bit of a purist which sometimes is probably not a good thing. I working on it, working on opening-up the mind more.

A curious question for you… What do you mean by Purist? I’m curious as to what that means to you and how it shapes your life… if you’d like to share?

I guess I use purist and traditionalist synonymously, I always gravitate to traditional teachings and practices. When it comes to things like yoga and spiritual practices and religious teachings, I prefer to seek-out as close to the original teachings as possible.
